StarStarStarStarStar Best case ever
User: Chad C, Jul 25, 2009
This case is going to last. I have used it on a Treo and the Touch Pro. I have had the same case for over two years and it is still working strong. Make sure the snap is closed and all is well. There are no belt clips on this phone. It uses your belt.
StarStarStarStarStar Best case Ive ever used!

Pros:  Secure belt loop - it can never fall off. Magnetic clasp is easy to open but stays securely shut
Cons:  Havent found any.

Im very active in my job... climbing on and off equipment and working around a warehouse. Clip type cases were always getting pulled off my belt and yet I needed to be able to answer my cell phone quickly... the magnetic clasp stays securely shut but can be opened easily. Like a good pair of gloves, the fit starts out a little tight... the case needs to be broken in to conform to your phone but after youve used it for a little while, it "fits like a glove" and the phone is easily removed. I was totally frustrated with all the cell phone cases Id used until I found the E&B case and Ill never use any other brand again. They last for years until the belt loop finally wears out and thats with a lot of rugged use. Highly recommend this case for anyone thats active and has issues with their case coming unclipped from their belt resulting in either losing or damaging their phone.

Pros:  Very Durable, looks great after four years of use
Cons:  Needs a small pocket in flap to store media cards

Ive used this holster for two previous blackberrys and now Im using it for my storm. The storm fits easily into the holster even with the silicone cover thats attached to my storm.

I modified mine so that it does go into the sleeper mode when the phone is inserted. Just remove a magnet from an old holster, take an exacto knife and make a small slit into the inside cover, place the magnet underneath the inside fabric, push the magnet with a small screwdriver to just below the magnet for the flap. Works great...
StarStarStarStarStar Best case Ive seen

Pros:  Great Screen Protection, High Quality, Tough & Durable, Pretty
Cons:  color choice would be nice

Ive had this case for over three years now, and its still going strong and just now beginning to show significant wear, even though Im not all that easy on it. I use a case for my Treo mostly to protect the screen. Admittedly, I dont use this case as designed: I almost always carry my Treo in the front pocket of my jeans or trousers, and the case helps keep other things in my pockets from damaging the screen, and keeps the buttons from being accidentally pressed.

This case is thin for something that provides so much protection, but I slimmed it down even more by removing the belt loop, which works fine, but I just dont like belt-mounted gizmos. (It would be nice to be able to buy this case without the belt loop, since the downside to removing the loop is the pattern of small holes remaining from the stitching that holds it on.) It also has a bit of extra room, so I can carry several business cards behind the phone, which is way easier than keeping them in my wallet, and encourages me to enter new ones in Palm Desktop when I get back to my desk.

Anyway, *great* case, nice leather, great value, and for my next phone/PDA, Ill be looking for something like this again. After 3 years, I now realize what a deal it was...
StarStarStarStarStar The belt loop is the protection I was looking for

Pros:  Belt loop, good fit for Centro
Cons:  Button magnet is small

Its a great case and worth the money if your clip-ons keep breaking or falling off as all of mine have. The fit is very snug but its easy to remove the Centro. The magnet sometimes needs a little moving around before finding the right spot. Im very satisfied with it and I still give it 5 stars.
StarStarStarStarStar Fantastic Case...well worth its cost
User: Chris B, Oct 26, 2007

Pros:  Belt loop, horizontal, soft leather, flexible, secure fit
Cons:  none

I had purchased a few treo cases before finding this one. In my opinion, this one is best. I take my 700p out a zillion times a day as a teacher: i.e. taking attendance and recording test grades. The other cases had a belt clip that either destroyed my belts, or else had a swivel clip that made the treo into a whirling/spinning toy. The belt loop on this case is perfect. It works beautifully, and since the pda fits precisely into the case with no wasted space, I practically forget I have a pda on my belt. The leather is soft and flexible and protects the phone without adding extra bulk. I had tried some of the vertical cases and always was annoyed at being poked in the ribs by the antenna when driving or sitting. The horizontal orientation of this case eliminates that problem, and in fact the antenna makes it very easy to pul the pda out of the case without losing a grip and dropping it. If I could give the case more than 5 stars, I would. I've even ordered a spare for when I wear this out.
StarStarStarStarStar as good as advertised
User: Reggie Hundley, Jan 16, 2007

Pros:  perfect for my needs
Cons:  none

I have always weanted a phone case with a belt loop as opposed to a clip. The loop is much more secure. I find people using standard phones who wish they could find one similar...particularly people who travel.
StarStarStarStarStar Belt loop more secure - fits many devices
User: Ian Breakspear, Dec 28, 2006

Pros:  Belt loop; simple and quality design
Cons:  none

I have been using this case daily for a year and it is the best I have owned. Looks good for most situations, very secure, easy access, quality build, and reasonable protection. Everything I need.

The belt loop is great - clips just fall off with me, and plastic belt clips usually break, causing my device to tumble to the hard concrete (not fun!).

Highly recommended.
StarStarStarStarStar Careful using magnetic fastener
User: Stanton Royce, Jul 22, 2009

Pros:  belt loop fits 1 1/2 inch belts classy fits with 2400 nha battery
Cons:  magnetic fastener rips through fabric if not opened right

Use it every day, lasted about 18 months before one edge of magnetic fastener ripped through fabric. Still works though. For longer life, open by slipping finger nail/tip between metal fastener pieces to separate rather than by pulling on edge of leather. Belt loop is secure, no ripped threads. Use it with dress and 1 1/2 inch CCL / CCW belts. Treo 680 with standard battery fits fine but also 680 with Sedio 2400 exended life battery fits in case snuggly but definitely fits. I just ordered a new one but wish they made one like this but vertical not horizontal so it takes up less space on belt to allow for more mags cases.

I have had the case for over a year. With frequent use the snap on the flap is tearing out and I'll need to replace. It needs reinforcement on the flap so the snap doesn't rip out.
StarStarStarStarStar Great Quality Case,
User: Anisa Dhanani, Dec 9, 2010

Pros:  -
Cons:  Only

This is a great case. Well constructed and fits the HTC Aria perfectly. The only cons are that the openings are not suited for the headphone jack and there is no clip. Ihis case only attaches by belt loop.

Aside from the case, the customer service representatives are very helpful.
StarStarStarStarStar Ive tried several side cases. This is my favorite.
User: Thomas Rodkey, Mar 9, 2010

Pros:  Very secure belt loop. Quality leather stiching. Soft interior.
Cons:  Designed for the Treo 600. (Mnf part# CO-Treo600-blk)

This case is the only one I will use for my Palm Pre. The belt loop is made of high quality supple leather and is very strong. The Co-pilot case should be your first choice if security is your main concern. The case will not accidentally fall off your belt when getting in and out of a car.
This side case was designed for the Treo 600 and consequently keeps all its legacy features. I had this case for my Treo 650 and 680 so my current smaller form-factor Pre is swimming in the soft interior. The magnetic button that secures the flap may have been the best closer seven years ago but today it seems outdated and clunky, not to mention that fact that the male part of the button has the potential to scratch the screen. After realizing you hold a piece of smartphone history it comes as no surprise that there is no phone jack access.
I would not hesitate to pay a premium for a case with a soft magnetic flap and a more tailored compartment as long as the belt loop is retained.

It looks great!
StarStarStarStarStar Nice features, but...
User: John Smythe, Aug 8, 2007

Pros:  Belt-loop is nice.
Cons:  -

Nice case, at first. Fits the Treo well, quality leather, and the belt-loop means it wont fall off. However, after just a couple months of normal use, the flap half of the magnetic snap has pulled through the fabric, making it useless. Im ordering another case, but it isnt going to be this one.
StarStarStarStarStar Works better than clip-on, but belt loop stitching fails
User: Earl Withycombe, Mar 20, 2007

Pros:  Easy to use with one hand, does not dislodge
Cons:  Belt loop stitching fails after 2 years

I bought this model solely because it had a belt loop rather than a clip. I wanted security in not having the case fall off my belt, and I got it. The design is very functional - the phone can easily be removed and replaced with one hand. After almost two years, however, the top stitching on the belt loop failed and I took the case to a shoe repair. The cobbler resewed the belt loop back on, but within a week the belt clip leather tore along the stitch line. I am buying another one of these because I cannot find another brand or model that has a belt loop, but I wish the manufacturer would make the belt loop thicker and use more durable thread in attaching it to the case.
StarStarStarStarStar Works as advertised
User: Karl Weinrich, Nov 15, 2006

Pros:  Belt loop means it cannot fall off
Cons:  none

5 Stars - For me, the perfect case for the Treo 650/700. The belt loop means the case will not pop off my belt. It also means I can put my Treo into the case with the screen facing my belt for extra protection. I find I can easily remove it one-handed, and replace it one-handed.
StarStarStarStarStar Great case, poor belt loop
User: Jim Forsythe, Feb 4, 2007

Pros:  solid case construction, easy in and out of phone
Cons:  Poor stitching on belt loop

This case has been working great for me for almost a year. Recently I noticed the stitching that holds the bottom of the belt loop to the back of the case has been ripping out. Its ripped out on both sides. I think it will eventually be totally ripped out. This stitching is not solid enough to withstand long-term repeated use on a belt.
StarStarStarStarStar Love the Belt Loop Hate the magnet
User: Bob Richards, Jan 18, 2007

Pros:  Belt loop never lets phone fall and holds phone close to body.
Cons:  Metal magnet damages finish on phone

The first case I had had a belt clip which held the phone to far from my body. I soon bumped the phone causing the clip to come off my belt and sent it flying to the ground causing damage. I got this case so that it would never come off my belt again. This case does that job perfectly. It also holds the phone close to my body avoiding bumps.

I used to keep the phone with the screen facing my belt to protect it. When I would take the phone out of the case the metal magnet on the case flap would rub across the phone. This eventually did damage to the finish on the phone. I since figured out to carry it with the screen out so the metal magnet drags across the back of the phone. Sometimes you just can't win. I wish someone made a case with a belt loop and concealed magnetic closure.

User: Mark Gaugh, Jun 3, 2010

Pros:  -
Cons:  Poor warranty

I had the case only two months and the loop for the belt ripped out. In addition, the phone (Bold 9700) fits too tightly, making it difficult to remove. Magnetic latch barely fit, as well.

User: Brian Mays, May 22, 2008

Pros:  appears well made
Cons:  too tight for phone

Too tight to get phone in & have to force magnetic closure. Getting out takes 2 hands. Magnet wont activate phone. Returning.
