StarStarStarStarStar Perfect Htc got it right
User: Winston Florent, Sep 25, 2010

Pros:  Multiple headphone ports and charging at the same time

StarStarStarStarStar Good product
User: Chris Stone, Aug 23, 2009

Pros:  Works Perfectly as advertised
Cons:  bulky and not flexible

If you need mic support this is the perfect product youll need.
its just bulky/awkward to carry around. I wouldve preferred the Seidio Mini USB to 3.5mm Adapter if it had mic support (which it doesnt) for music and talking.
StarStarStarStarStar Must-have Adapter for AT&T Tilt
User: Steve Zweigart, Jan 25, 2009

Pros:  Versatile, Solves multiple connectivity problems, Well-built. Priced very reasonably.
Cons:  No instructions, A bit ungainly in appearance.

This device solved two major problems I had with my Tilt. First and foremost, the headset that I purchased from AT&T to go with this phone are uncomfortable to the point of being almost impossible to wear. They simply do not want to stay in the ear. This adapter allows me to wear my good Bose headset to listen to music. The other problem is that of being able to listen while the device is charging. Since this adapter has two USB connectors, this is an easy chore...especially useful when using the AT&T Navigator function, which is heavy on power consumption, and not quite loud enough to hear through the Tilts built-in speaker.

My biggest complaint is that the device was shipped naked, in an envelope, with no instructions whatsoever. I have no idea, other than a simple stereo headset, what may be able to be plugged into the the 2.5mm and/or 3.5mm jacks, or whether video can be retrieved in any fashion from the device as may be accoplished with an iPod, Zune, etc. using this adapter. I will have to search the HTC website to see if I can find anything indicating its specs or resembling a user manual.

The design is tough and matches the Tilt very well. Though it is a little awkward the way it protrudes from the device, it is well built to withstand its dongle-type presence, and in most situations it is truly useful, is not in the way.

Overall, the device is well worth the money, and I truly question why it is not shipped as standard equipment with the device, as it is so very useful, and should be the only adapter you ever need for this phone.
StarStarStarStarStar HTC Multi adapter

Pros:  Charge and listen simultaneously
Cons:  3.5mm Inoperative

Finally a device that enables you to listen and charge phone simultaneously. Although I havent been able to get the 3.5mm jack to work with headphones with my G1 phone. I havent tried the 2.5mm jack yet.
StarStarStarStarStar 3.5mm jack doesnt work for me
User: Dan Dan, Nov 25, 2009

Pros:  Looks nice
Cons:  3.5mm jack doesnt work

The USB headset jack works well and its nice to listen to music and charge at the same time. However, the 3.5mm jack does not work. I mustve gotten a bad one.

Wish the 3.5mm audio jack would work with headsets, now unfortunatly I will have to buy a replacement stock headset, same one that came with the phone, that broke within months. I believe, just looking at other comments, this is an ongoing problem, why is it not brought to attention, or fixed? Just a thought.
StarStarStarStarStar 3.5 audio does not work
User: Dominga Martinez, Mar 20, 2010
I like being able to charge and talk at the sametime wired, however as many others have written the 3.5 audio jack does not work, i do not think it is a bad one as I have seen so many others not able to get the 3.5 mm jack to work. Unfortunatly did not find out til the 30 day return was over!
StarStarStarStarStar headphone jack doesnt ork
User: Joe Bents, Feb 1, 2010

Pros:  charging and using for music
Cons:  still need mini-usb to headphone adapter

I bought this thinking I could leave my other adapter at home and just plug my headphones into it.

The headphone jack does not work though so Im still required to bring my mic adapter that comes with the phone.

Makes me wish I would have got an iPhone.
StarStarStarStarStar Fails on G1 cupcake, web page still shows as good
User: Craig Asplund, Aug 7, 2009
Even though the mouse-over on this adapter still says it is the T-Mobile G1 adapter it no longer works after the cupcake update. Support says sorry, and will sell me a new one, but I am stuck with this one. Bummer.
StarStarStarStarStar Fails on tmobile g1 after cupcake update
User: Rob Hare, Jul 31, 2009
This product used to work great but after Android Cupcake update it stopped working. Prior to that it whould have been given 3 stars due to itLs size. The fact that you have to have this adapter is the biggest downside to the g1/magic.
