THE CASE NEEDED A SLIGHT MODIFICATION, WHEN PLACING PHONE IN HOLSTER CLIP, THE LATCH SITS ON TOP OF POWER ON/OFF BUTTON, SO PHONE WOULD BE ON ALL OF THE TIME.

TOOK SMALL FILE AND FILED DOWN ONE SIDE OF THE LATCH SO THE LATCH WOULD MAKE CONTACT WITH THE PHONE NEXT TO THE POWER BUTTON, INSTEAD OF TOUCHING POWER BUTTON FIRST.

TOOK 5 MINUTES TO MAKE MODIFICATION, NOW I CAN PRESS DOWN ON THE LATCH AND IT WILL NOT TURN PHONE ON.

BATTERY LASTED ENTIRE 8 HOUR WORK DAY, AND STILL HAD 25 CHARGE LEFT...I ENJOY THE PHONE MUCH MORE NOW AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS UPGRADE.

I have been reading all the other reviews and i finally got one. Fast shipping and this bad boy is unbelievable. Im a heavy user and i work 12 hours a day, i have this battery for a week and still cant get it to do the 5-6 cycles as it is hard to kill. I love the way the EVO 4G look stock and this battery add a little weight and bulk but is not really like in the pics. It feel good on hand and i can have the 3G/4g all day on with out been worrie about it to die. Unpluged AT 4:30AM and got back home by 6:30PM with 66 left. Highly recommend it.

Its funny. I bought this battery for the extra juice. And it delivers quite well. Its of course bulkier and heavier. Not a problem. I just had to get used to it. I used this one to replace a Sedio 1750 battery. My biggest complaint is it takes a long time to charge. So I still find myself plugging into a charger when I can. Because so far if my battery is down to 25 charge it wont fully charge overnight.
But, Im glad I got it. I now have a stock 1500, a larger Sedio 1750 and this 3500 battery. And when I go camping I now feel comfortable knowing I have enough juice to get me home.

This battery is the best thing Ive ever seen, I use the mobile hotspot on my phone all day while in school, before I got this battery within 3 maybe 4 hours my battery was dead, now I go a solid 8 hours with out shutting off the hotspot and still have enough juice to last me the rest of the day before I have to charge the phone. it is amazing :) I would recommend this to anyone that needs there EVO to last all day

This is a great battery. It might be twice as thick as the oem battery but it triples the time between charges.

Make sure you read the instructions during initial charge and the first few subsequent charges to get the most out of it.

This battery is the best solution for the very short battery life of the original one that came with The phone. I would have to charge the original one by 3pm with regular usage. The 3500mah battery is triple the life of the original one. When I first received the battery I charged it for 8 hours and an additional 2 hours as per the instructions to have optimum battery longevity. The charge now can easily last me 2 whole days with regular phone and web use before needing a charge and it still fits in the original leather case despite its bulky size.

Love this battery. I was scared of 2 things when I got this battery: 1. that it really wouldnt last like they say, 2. that it would be too bulky. Im glad to say, neither is the case. This battery lasts me 12-15 hours constantly, no hoax! You have to make sure you charge it right per instructions, but after that, its more satisfying than the phone sometimes. I love this Seidio battery so much, im not upgrading to the Evo 3D until they have one available!! Please get this battery if you have issues with your phone regarding power. I highly recommend this battery!!!!!!!!!

I purchased this item last year and did the full charge thing but it would only last about an hour longer than the standard battery. I used Seidio extended batteries on other devices with great success so was disappointed. I returned the battery and worked with the standard one. That just wasnt working, so about a month ago I reordered the 3500 battery. I charged over night, about 8 hours, and I was able to use my EVO for more than 2 days before the low battery warning screen came on. I use a lot of GPS, internet, email etc.. This is how I remember the battery. I think the first one I had was probably defective. I also like the fact that the cover keeps the camera lense from sitting on any flat surface. Highly recommend this battery for power users

Ive had the evo since it came out last june and im completely impressed!!!! The original battery would last maybe 2 and a half hours of full usage. I then purchased an extended battery from a different manufacturer and the battery would last for a good 6 hours but that wasnt a complete work day. It wasnt good enough for me . I then purchased the extended rugged case from seidio but it wouldnt fit with the battery back i purchased. I like have to have my phone complete so i broke down and bought the seidio extended battery to match. Wow was I impressed!!!!! I take my phone off the charger a 5:45 and it lasted until 4pm (15). Just on sunday I took it off the at 9am and i didnt charge it again until 9:30 pm and it still had 13 remaining. This battery is the way to go!!!!!

I purchased this battery a week and a half ago, because my original EVO battery begain to drain way too fast recently and I was about to go to Disney World and needed something that could last me all day.

The first test was the first travel day. We had a 7:30AM flight. I took my phone off of the charger at 4:45AM and it did not put it on the charger until we went to bed around 11pm and the battery indicator was still green! I was completely sold and happy. It has been that same way every day and still is to this day.

Cons: Heavier than the sleek looking phone you walked out of the store with (which isnt useful without a battery that lasts). However, I think most users wont find the minor addition of weight an issue once theyre able to use their HTC EVO for a full day.

Best use of cash Ive spent on an electronic item in the past 5 years!!! Performs as described. Im a heavy user of all functions on the phone. Easily lasts 48 hrs as opposed to the 6-7 hrs I got out of the stock battery (GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G turned off). The phone lasts 20+ hrs with all features turned on (GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G). Battery and redesigned back panel look and feel like OEM equipment. Excellent product!

To be fair, I only used the stock battery for the first day I have the EVO. Let it charge for 3 hrs after the green fully charged lite came on. Phone lasted about 10 hours of med duty use. New extended battery lasted a day and a half with much more use. The only flaw is the weight. Its a bit more heavy, but worth it. Would buy again.

Having survived a month with the stock battery (which always had me paranoid as to how often I needed to plug in), I boned down and got the SEIDIO 3500mAh extended battery.

Amazing.

I can go a whole business day and then some without worry. After 12 hours - I still have on average about 40 to 50 remaining. Nice.

It does add a little bit of bulk to the phone, but compared to the standard battery WITH the SEIDIO bumper case, it actually seems slimmer.

Well worth the purchase!

I use my EVO for every thing. I am a heavy data user. The battery that ships with the phone is ok but I would have to plug my phone in 2 to 3 times a day to charge the battery. But with this one I plug my phone in every night and it last me all day. My friend has the same battery he uses his phone a little less and he has to plug it in every 2 to 4 days. Also to get the best battery life after your light has turn green keep it plugged in for a few more hours. I have notice a huge difference by doing this.

I recently switched from an iphone to the HTC Evo because it was an all around more powerful device plus I live in an area that has 4G coverage. I did a lot of research prior to switching. A vast majority of the complaints I read about the Evo were centered on the battery life, or lack thereof. The fact is that the phone is so powerful that it drains its battery quicker. Previously, If I had a full charge at 8 AM, I would usually need to recharge around 5 PM. There were generally two solutions to resolve this issue prior to this Seidio battery 1. Carry around a charging cable to plug into a car charger, wall charger or work computer. 2. Pack an extra 1500mAh battery and swap them out.
Now that I have this 3500mAh Seidio battery, I have double the power and can go all day without needing an extra charge and without having to turn off any of the phones best features (4G, Wifi, GPS, etc.). Due to the size of the battery, it comes with its own cover for the back of the phone. When the new cover and battery are installed, all of the rear features on the phone are still fully functionable (8 megapixel lens, led flash, speaker and kickstand). There is an obvious drawback with this battery. The width of the phone increases by about �� inch but I can still carry it in my pocket with no problem.
So if you own the HTC Evo, this double duty battery is a MUST!

Im always Surfing/Texting/GPS sometimes for a long period of 3 hours/Life Screensaver and Bluetooth. First charge was for 11 hours, per instructions it has to be 8 hours charge. It last around 13 hour�s juice and still has like 40 battery life, it�s just me, always like 100 juice. Second charge it�s on the works. I will know today 4 sure. Instructions said charge 5-6 times 2-3 extra hours after the light is green for better performance. Since my first charge was 11 hours instead of the 8 hours it required for the first charge I will charge 5 times the extra 2 hours. Let�s see what happens. As for now I�m happy with it.

The original battery for the EVO sucks then I brought another battery that was 2700mah and it did ok. Then I brought this battery and I can use my phone all day and still have about 40 percent at 11pm. The only problem that I have is no matter how long I charge the battery when I take it off the charger it starts off at 100 power but immediately loses 5 to 10 percent power not a big deal but does great the rest of the day.

I love my new battery! It works really well, I leave the house at 3:00am and then I put it back on the charger at about 11:00pm and I still have 32 left every night. This is one of the best purchases I have made for my Evo 4g.

But there is one downside the battery does runn low if you turn on your 4g and wi-fi. I still turn off everything else but I do talk on my phone at least eight hours a day.

Well worth the cash! No bones about it. I dont have to turn anything off, plus I watch multiple music videos and movies. The GPS stays on now as well as my phone goes in and out of service (which also uses alot of battery although newer phones handle it better than how the old ones would go digital/analog/digital).

If you twisted my arm for a CON. its battery programs not reading the 3500Mah correctly. I start at 100 after charging it over night for approx 8 hours. Once I unplug it, it goes from 100 slowly to 93. then it starts to taper off slowly and lasts for about 2 days before I get to 15. Sure it could be the battery but I have seen other people describe the same thing. I tried Battery Indicator and some other android apps.

After following the recommended 8 hour + 2 hour charge times and after 5 subsequent charges I get almost 2 full days from a charge but was getting over a full day with standard battery. This includes very minimal phone and browser use with Bluetooth and GPS off when not using. Also use app killer to reduce battery usage. It is also much bulkier than the standard battery. Not worth the money.

the lock on the case is terrible. it doesnt stay lock and my phone has been dislodged a few times. the locking system is a joke. is it all cases or just mines. and the battery last a day. it gives me about 4 more ours then the original one. i thought i would at least get a full day on a full charge. but that has not happened. please address this issues.

Bought the extended battery about a month ago. I use the EVO extensively at work and I drive from job site to job site. I work in a rural area and the phone is constantly going in and out of service areas. This battery will last a full 10-hour shift thats run ning the GPS, bluetooth, etc.
I am very happy with the extended life the battery provides to my phone.
Heres the Con:
The cat knocked my phone off the counter and into the water dish. I took the Seido rugged case apart, removed the battery and dried everything off. There was no water on the battery. When I reassembled the phone, no worky. I put the original HTC battery in that came with the phone and it started right up. For the money I paid for the battery, I would expect a little sturdier construction, but this is the same complaint the guy had who bought the Seidio 1750 mAH battery.

Overall: yeah, I know its my fault the phone went into the waterdish. I dont know if its because of the water or if something happened when I removed the battery, but for the money, Seidio could do a better job of putting these things together.

The phone battery as shipped is almost a joke. It runs down in a few hours or less. To make the battery last, you have to disable a lot of the cool features of the phone, which is why I bought the phone in the 1st place. The extended battery here helps a great deal, but I still cannot get a full day out of the phone if I use many apps. I would gladly have double the weight and size if I could just get the battery to last, as the features of the phone are right up there with my I-phone, but the battery life is a serious shortcoming. This battery helps, but not enough for me.

beware seidio products: their back cases are very brittle and the little tabs will eventually break no matter how careful you are. Not for people who experiment with ROMS and have lockups that require battery removal. Seidio will not honor their warranty regarding the back case. Replacement for it is $20.

Ive on occasion had a bad phone, SD card or some other reason for a phone that has crashed a few times and required me to remove the rear cover. First seidio extended battery covers top latch broke after a few removals and I attributed it to not being careful.
I bought a second extended battery thinking that Id get a new cover, and have two batteries.

Now my second back covers tabs have broken. It only takes about 4 removals before the tabs crack and break off. They are VERY brittle and flimsy! I was always very careful, and they broke anyway.

Seidio will not honor their warranty regarding the back cover. They want $15 for the cover alone!

Purchased the 3500 battery and got it in the mail yesterday.. after 40 minutes of charge, the green charge light came on, but the phone refused to boot. The opening screen comes up, but then shuts off.. nice QC!!
