This arrived in only 3 days after I placed the order. The case fits my HTC EVO 4G perfectly. It is exactly what I was looking for. The exterior is stiff and protects the phone and the fit is snug but it is still easy to pull the phone from that case.

- great fit (not too tight) and phone protection
- covers entire phone
- slim and light but sturdy
- useful ribbon
- the smell goes away quickly
- the inside, while not "silky", is smooth enough

- not very practical when you need to use the phone frequently

This is a great pouch. I like how thin it is - does not add bulk to my Evo. But..I think the price is a little high for what it is. Nonetheless I would recommend it if you are looking for something that completely covers and protects your Evo.

Phone fits securely in case. Ribbon pull brings phone 1/4 of the way out of case when pulled. Perfect protection from fall impact. Most importantly, ringer is fully audible despite form fitting case. Best option for anyone looking for sheath case option for HTC EVO- protect your investment.

great item, and it was better then i expected for it to be. the photos on one is exactly what you get. the photo is not improvised to give attribute to the elegance of the pouch. what you see it what you get when it comes to this pouch.

I bought two of these. few comments
- silky, velvet material is a severe exaggeration, but the inside is more like smooth cloth and is perfect.
- Yes it is smelly at first but that dissipates over time
- the size is perfect for a pocket pouch and does not add too much bulk for your pocket
- the EVO fits perfectly and the ribbon pull works great
- It is a stiff case. like they wrapped the leather around some very stiff cardboard

Pros: fit is perfect for evo. slim, so no added bulk. no belt clip.
Cons: its stinky. but im sure the chemical smell will wear off. id prefer brown instead of black.

all in all i am very happy with it.

I upgraded from an Instinct to the EVO and I wanted a sleeve like the one that came with my Instinct and this was the best I could find. Its very sturdy, the leather looks nice and once you get used to the pull tab, its easy to use. Its also a tight fit so if you worry about it falling out of the pouch, it wont. BUT..

The phone is a very tight fit. You can barely get a grip on it if you try to pull it out without the pull tab and even then, because its such a tight fit, its difficult to pull out. so you MUST use the pull tab every time. Which also means you must put it in correctly. Also, the leather, while nice, is very stiff with no give at all. The inside is also NOT silky smooth as the description said. It doesnt scratch, but you should know that it is not "silky smooth."

If it wasnt such a tight fit, I would give it 5 stars. If it was just 1 or 2 mm wider, it would be perfect for me.

Cons: pull tab hangs loose off end of case (no magnet like other cases). Phone must be inserted with case facing down or phone phone wont go completely into the case.

The case isnt as tight around the evo as Id like and its made of just ok material nothing really high quality about it.
The pull strap is completely useless and I cut it out right away.

Phone slips out of new case

Less than 1 mo after buying, pulled the phone out of my purse. The phone slipped out of the case and cracked on the floor.

There is a ribbon tab inside the case which assists in pulling the phone out of the case. However, it gets caught up when trying to place phone back into the case and it takes multiple attempts and maneuvoring to get the phone in.
